Job Summary
List Engineering Design is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and developing mechanical systems across a variety of commercial industry projects, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate thrives in both independent and collaborative environments and is comfortable working in a hybrid setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical design drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure designs comply with all applicable mechanical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
- Support construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and participating in site visits when needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to respect, reliability, and service—and contribute positively to a culture built on trust and good character.
Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience of mechanical engineering design experience for commercial buildings in the AEC industry.
· Certification: EI/PE a plus, but not required.
· Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
· Knowledge: Strong understanding of applicable and relevant industry codes.
· Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
