Soft Serve Servers / Counter Staffs – Full-Time
Lisbonata | Brooklyn, NY
Lisbonata is seeking reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Soft Serve Servers to join our team. You will be responsible for taking orders, swirling soft serve, and finishing each serving with house-made toppings in a fast-paced environment. Previous kitchen or bakery experience is a big plus.
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 4:00 PM–10:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
The shop closes at 9:00 PM. The final hour is dedicated to thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the soft serve machines, removable parts, topping station, and service area.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about flavors and ingredients
- Process payments using the POS system
- Prepare and serve soft serve with consistent, beautiful presentation
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service
- Keep the soft serve machines properly filled throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked topping station
- Prepare backup toppings and other service ingredients
- Communicate with the baking team to ensure all ingredients and components are available
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the soft serve machines and removable parts at closing
- Keep the counter, topping station, and service area clean and organized
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous soft serve, ice cream, counter-service, or cashier experience is preferred
- Experience cleaning commercial soft serve machines is a major plus
- Friendly and confident when interacting with customers
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work the full Wednesday–Sunday schedule
- Takes pride in providing great service and serving a beautiful product
