Lead Construction Project Manager

The Lead Project Manager will lead the production team in executing high-specification interior design projects. They will manage direct reports, streamline processes, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & ESTIMATION

• Build and maintain construction estimates based on the scope of work
• Ensure financial margin consistency with all projects; exceptions will maintain project margin goals
• Set up and manage all construction cost codes
• Evaluate cost opportunities and bids vs. actuals and use the information to evolve the L&L process
• Manage and maintain Production Profit Margin goals
• Review construction FFE selections and check for accuracy in building standards and usability
• Work with Lead Designer to globalize and maintain design and construction standards

SCHEDULE, PLANNING, SPECIAL PROJECTS

• Maintain overall job scheduling Gantt chart to meet financial goals, efficiency, and client experience
• Forecast construction availability to inform new project sales; communicate regularly to the executive team
• Plan, forecast, maintain, and communicate the department’s financial standings and financial goals to all necessary parties
• Consistently evaluate P&L statement and adjust strategy to support achieving department goals and decision
• Lead special projects; as assigned

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

• Maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of current practices, standards, and strategies to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Manage the Company’s project management tool(s) including communication and training for ongoing upgrades to the company’s team members and productivity enhancements
• Oversee the Production team, including strategic planning for the Company’s pursuits and ongoing projects
• Oversee quality control, Site Operations manuals, project scheduling guidelines, and development of supplemental content for project and process management
• Complete and maintain department budget, forecasting, and goals
• Recruit and onboard team members, ensure team members have development plans in place to continue their growth, lead the promotion and performance review process for the team

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Problem-solve and troubleshoot when issues arise
• Self-start, independently work, with attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills; A knowledge of Apple & Google products preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communicator, confident in dealing with a wide range of individuals
• Comfortable with ever-changing needs and ambiguity

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
