**This position has 2-3 weeks of training at our Dahlgren, VA field office then you will be working in are Quantico, VA location**

Job Overview

The Project Manager for TST Construction, a general contractor providing construction management for the Federal government, oversees the daily activities of Site Superintendents and is ultimately responsible for the entire project.

Responsibilities

  • Manage federal construction projects from award through completion.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Lead project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project costs, identify budget variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Coordinate RFI's, change orders, supplemental instructions, and contract documentation.
  • Oversee project schedules and track progress against milestones.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, project stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
  • Prepare and present monthly project status reports detailing progress, schedule updates, budget impacts, and project risks.
  • Review and approve subcontractor payment applications and project invoices.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work meets contract requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, permitting requirements, and building codes.
  • Promote and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, government agencies, inspectors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • IDIQ or task order project experience is highly desired.
  • Federal construction project experience is preferred.
  • Middle commercial construction project experience is required with project valued minimum of $5 million.
  • USACE Contractor Quality Control certification preferred.
  • Proven experience delivering Design-build or ground up construction projects from planning through closeout.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent construction projects with individual project values up to $10 million.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction trades and building systems.
  • Ability to effectively manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, and project documentation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • federal construction project: 3 years (Preferred)
  • middle to heavy commercial construction project: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Quantico, VA 22135 (Required)

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
