Job Overview
The Project Manager for TST Construction, a general contractor providing construction management for the Federal government, oversees the daily activities of Site Superintendents and is ultimately responsible for the entire project.
Responsibilities
- Manage federal construction projects from award through completion.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Lead project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor project costs, identify budget variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements to ensure compliance and quality.
- Coordinate RFI's, change orders, supplemental instructions, and contract documentation.
- Oversee project schedules and track progress against milestones.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, project stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
- Prepare and present monthly project status reports detailing progress, schedule updates, budget impacts, and project risks.
- Review and approve subcontractor payment applications and project invoices.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work meets contract requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, permitting requirements, and building codes.
- Promote and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with owners, government agencies, inspectors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- IDIQ or task order project experience is highly desired.
- Federal construction project experience is preferred.
- Middle commercial construction project experience is required with project valued minimum of $5 million.
- USACE Contractor Quality Control certification preferred.
- Proven experience delivering Design-build or ground up construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent construction projects with individual project values up to $10 million.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction trades and building systems.
- Ability to effectively manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, and project documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Experience:
