Are you reliable, hardworking, and looking to join a fast-paced company where every day is different? We’re looking for a Junk Hauling Driver / Route Manager to run daily routes, manage pickups, deliver great customer service, and represent our brand with professionalism.
About the Role
As a Junk Hauling Driver / Route Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving our dump trucks, completing junk removal jobs, coordinating daily routes, and ensuring each customer receives a five-star, hassle-free experience. This is a hands-on, physical job with leadership responsibilities.
You are the face of the company — and your performance directly impacts daily revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Operations
Safely drive company dump trucks and pickup vehicles to customer locations
Load, haul, and dispose of junk, debris, and recyclables
Operate lift gates, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment
Maintain a clean, organized truck and workspace
Route Management
Plan daily routes efficiently to reduce drive time and maximize profitability
Communicate with dispatch and management throughout the day
Adjust routes on-the-fly based on cancellations, add-ons, or delays
Customer Service
Provide friendly, professional service at every job
Give onsite load estimates and explain pricing
Upsell additional services when appropriate
Handle customer concerns with confidence and tact
Team Leadership
Lead a helper (when assigned) during jobs
Train new employees on safety and process
Ensure jobs are completed on time and according to company standards
Requirements
Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
Clean driving record
Able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly
Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience driving larger vehicles preferred
Prior junk removal, moving, or construction experience is a plus
