The Office of Student Success and Wellbeing (OSSW) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lipscomb University student to join our team and serve as an intern for the department. This position is ideal for a student who is passionate about supporting their peers and contributing to a positive campus environment. This position will primarily assist with administrative tasks and support staff members in the OSSW. Must be a current Lipscomb student. May be federal work study eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet students as they enter the office, answering any questions and directing them to the appropriate area or resources.
- Assist OSSW staff with administrative tasks
- Help prepare materials and resources for workshops and events
- Assist with OSSW sponsored events
- Assist with the creation and distribution of promotional materials for office events and services
- Perform other duties as assigned by the office staff to support the mission of OSSW
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at Lipscomb University
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of the resources and services available at Lipscomb.
- Previous experience working on campus or serving in a student leader role is a plus
