What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Success Center Student Worker position at Lipscomb University?
Provide administrative support to the Academic Success Center to include:
- Work at the Learning Commons front desk in the Beaman Library to answer student questions and check students in for tutoring
- Assist Director of the Academic Success Center on various projects including working with faculty on sensitive academic issues
- Assist peers in understanding and utilizing academic advising resources
Qualifications:
- Must be a current Lipscomb University Student
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn
- Flexible
- Computer skills
- Ability to dedicate 8-10 hours a week to this role
