Lionscape is looking for an experienced Landscape Crew Lead who can take ownership of a jobsite, lead a small team and deliver work they're proud to put their name on.
This is not just a "most experienced guy on the crew" position.
We're looking for someone who can be trusted with a crew, equipment, schedule and client property — and who takes responsibility for getting the job done correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
As a Crew Lead, you'll:
- Lead and work alongside a landscape crew
- Review job details and understand the plan before work begins
- Organize the crew and assign responsibilities
- Keep projects moving efficiently throughout the day
- Maintain Lionscape quality standards
- Train and coach less-experienced crew members
- Safely operate trucks, trailers and landscape equipment
- Properly load, secure and care for equipment and materials
- Communicate job progress, material needs and potential problems
- Identify issues BEFORE they become bigger problems
- Maintain a clean and professional jobsite
- Communicate professionally with clients when needed
- Complete jobs correctly and efficiently
- Take ownership of the final result
Our work includes landscape installations, plantings, mulch and decorative stone, property cleanups, trimming, sod installations, landscape lighting and seasonal Christmas light installation.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has professional landscaping experience, preferable with landscape installations, planting, mulching and property enhancements
- Has experience leading people OR clearly demonstrates leadership ability
- Can work independently without needing constant direction
- Understands how to keep a crew productive without sacrificing quality
- Notices details
- Can solve problems in the field
- Communicates clearly with both management and crew members
- Holds themselves and others accountable
- Takes care of company trucks, equipment and client property
- Is dependable and consistently shows up ready to lead
- Is willing to work alongside the crew — this is a hands-on leadership position
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. You must also be able to meet company/DOT requirements for driving company vehicles.

What Lionscape Offers
- $25–$35/hour, depending on experience, leadership ability and skill
- Full-time employment
- Typically Monday–Friday
- We typically do NOT work weekends
