Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, and offices
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
- Dispose of trash and handle linens appropriately
- Restock supplies as needed
- Interact respectfully with residents, families, and staff
- Ensure that work and cleaning schedules are followed; coordinate daily laundry
- Attend and participate in training, education activities and staff meetings
- Collect, launder and distribute linens, garments, etc. in accordance with facility procedures.
- Properly maintain all equipment.
- Ensure work areas are clean and safe, ensure policies covering infection control.
- Health and safety hazardous materials, etc, are strictly followed.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- Supportive team environment
