Job Description

Job Title: Dietary Aide

Schedule

Part-time (union) — Sunday through Thursday 4pm-8pm (20 hours)

PRN - Thursday through Saturday 4pm-8pm or Friday through Sunday 4pm-8pm (12 hours)

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dietary department and ensuring that our residents receive high-quality and nutritious meals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and restrictions.
• Set up dining areas and assist residents with meal service
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with dietary staff, residents, and their families
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry-level experience in a dietary or food service setting preferred
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Ability to work well as part of a team
