- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and restrictions.
- Set up dining areas and assist residents with meal service
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with dietary staff, residents, and their families
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level experience in a dietary or food service setting preferred
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Ability to work well as part of a team
