Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional individual with drive and dedication to creating successful and elaborate catering experiences. The position offers on-job training, however proficiency in Microsoft Office and Social Tables is an advantage. With competitive compensation rates, health and dental insurance, short term disability, and 401K options the position is hard to pass up. Training starts at $25.00/hour plus flat fee per event. Managing at $200 per event) Interested candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events from initial inquiry through event completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience
- Conduct client meetings, tastings, and walkthroughs to bring event visions to life
- Develop event proposals, timelines, and layouts using tools such as Social Tables
- Collaborate with culinary, service, and operations teams to ensure flawless execution
- Oversee on-site event setup, service, and breakdown, maintaining high standards throughout
- Manage event staff during service, providing direction and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Assist with sales efforts, including responding to inquiries and helping convert leads into booked events
- Ensure all events align with brand standards, quality expectations, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, events, hospitality, or restaurant management preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with Social Tables is a plus
- Willingness to learn and participate in on-the-job training
- Ability to lead and manage event staff effectively during live events

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
