What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic II position at Linvatec Corporation?
Perform maintenance on production machines to ensure they are always in top operating condition. These machines include CNC Machine Tools (Mills, Swiss Lathes, EDM), Grinders, Presses, Laser Welding, Laser Etching machines, Injection Molding equipment, Sterilizing and Packaging equipment, etc. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform all assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with established Quality / Regulatory System. Under minimum supervision, maintain and troubleshoot automatic, electro/mechanical equipment involving programmable controllers, servo controllers, robotics, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems. Identify safety related issues and provide recommendations for improvement. Perform planned maintenance activities in accordance with Computerized Maintenance Management system. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, such as equipment operators, 3rd party contractors, manufacturing engineers, and members of the management team. Instruct and train fellow Technicians as required. Required Qualifications: 2 years' experience in machine tool repair, electro-mechanical, electronics, or other related technology 1 years' experience in building maintenance 1 years' experience with PC Operations Preferred Qualifications: CNC Machine maintenance experience Capable of using online documentation, MP2, and ability to program PLC Experience interpreting engineering prints Experience with MS Office programs 0-20% Travel.
