Schedule: Monday – Friday | 24/7 Operation | On-Call | Some weekends as needed

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at their Lamesa, TX mining facility. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing production, safety, budgeting, and maintenance within a 24/7 operation. The ideal candidate will bring extensive mining or heavy industrial experience, excellent communication skills, and a track record of driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all site operations to ensure production efficiency and quality targets are met.

• Oversee safety, environmental compliance, and maintenance programs.

• Develop and manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.

• Plan production schedules and coordinate maintenance activities.

• Drive continuous improvement and operational best practices.

• Serve as a key liaison between plant leadership and corporate management.

• Be available on-call and work weekends as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to physically maneuver throughout the mine and plant.

• 10 years of progressive experience in mine operations or maintenance (5 years in management).

  • Alternatively: 7 years in maintenance with HS diploma or GED.

• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences or Engineering.

• Mining and leadership experience.

• Project management background.

• Engineering or operations management experience in similar industries.

• Systemic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
