Responsibilities
- Assemble components accurately and efficiently using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to meet production targets.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to control machinery and ensure proper functioning during assembly processes.
- Follow strict adherence to FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other safety protocols to maintain compliance.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly line, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies promptly.
- Utilize warehouse experience and forklift skills to handle materials, move inventory, and ensure smooth workflow in the packaging and storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment, following safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues, using hand tools or mechanical knowledge to resolve problems quickly.
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with packaging processes and warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience with hand tools is highly valued.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
