Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bulk Scale-Up Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for supporting the transition of products from small-scale laboratory batches to larger production quantities. Your expertise will ensure that scaling processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct small scale lab experiments to support Bulk Scale-Up Engineers’ troubleshooting/process improvement
- Monitor stability of pilot/1st production samples and report findings to Bulk Scale-Up Engineers
- Gather signatures for OTC Validation documents
- Organize and file OTC Validation documents
- Request new manufacturing procedures from chemists
- Upload manufacturing procedures into Webtools
- Take inventory of/sort bulk standards
- Create submission forms/submit OTC samples to QC lab for 3rd party testing
- Opportunity for growth within the Bulk Scale-Up Team
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in daily operations to ensure quality and compliance.
- Adhere to applicable quality and safety standards
- Maintain neat and organized work area
- Maintain punctual attendance
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or manufacturing background preferred; familiarity with CGMP standards is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and machining equipment
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification is advantageous
- Strong basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations during scaling procedures
- Experience with packaging processes within a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and equipment operation such as forklifts and hand tools
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving
- Chemistry, engineering or related background preferred
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical and math skills
