Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate RCFE Administrator/Regional Operations Specialist for our Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the RCFE, ensuring adherence to all state and federal regulations.
- Supervise staff including caregivers, nurses, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
- Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to optimize facility efficiency.
- Ensure medication administration is performed accurately and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Coordinate resident admissions, discharges, and ongoing assessments to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Conduct regular staff training on resident safety, emergency procedures, and compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to support residents' well-being.
- Monitor facility operations related to home & community care services and ensure continuous quality improvement initiatives are in place.
Experience
- Extensive background in senior care settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, retirement homes, or group homes.
- Proven supervisory or management experience within long-term care or home & community care environments.
- Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care programs, and resident-centered approaches.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to RCFE licensing standards and healthcare regulations.
- Experience with budgeting, financial acumen related to healthcare operations, and resource management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively.
- Background in social work or related fields is advantageous but not required.
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex medical needs such as medication administration is preferred. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of resident care while ensuring operational excellence within the facility. The successful candidate will demonstrate a compassionate leadership style combined with strategic operational expertise to support residents' dignity and quality of life.
Pay: $65, $75,000.00 per year
