In this highly technical role, you will take ownership of PCB and PCBA quality throughout the product lifecycle. You will act as the in-house PCB technical expert, supporting engineering, manufacturing, NPI, and supplier quality activities while driving root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with design engineers, suppliers, quality teams, and manufacturing leadership to improve yields, reduce defects, strengthen supplier performance, and ensure products meet both customer and industry quality standards.
This role would suit a Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer, or PCB Manufacturing Engineer looking to take ownership of a critical technical quality position within a growing and technically advanced business.
The Role:
- Take ownership of PCB and PCBA quality across fabrication, assembly, supplier quality, and customer requirements
- Lead root cause investigations, CAPA activities, failure analysis, and continuous improvement projects
- Manage supplier quality performance, audits, SCARs, and first article inspections
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and NPI teams to improve product quality and manufacturability
The Person:
- Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer, or Sr PCB Manufacturing Engineer
- Background within PCB, PCBA, SMT, or electronics manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes
- Experience with root cause analysis, supplier quality, and continuous improvement
