This company has been established for decades and specializes in technically advanced products for industries including aerospace, defense, semiconductor and integrated circuits. Following significant growth, it is increasing production volumes, developing new facilities and investing heavily in its people, processes and manufacturing capabilities.

In this position, you will take leadership responsibility for one or potentially two manufacturing divisions, overseeing existing Production Managers and Team Leads. You will improve production flow, develop leadership capability, influence plant layouts and recommend capital-equipment investments.

Depending on your experience, you may lead a single division or oversee two Philadelphia facilities employing approximately 160 people. The role will involve significant transformation, facility expansion, continuous improvement and the development of existing manufacturing teams.

The Role:

• Lead manufacturing operations across one or potentially two Philadelphia facilities
• Drive manufacturing strategy, production-flow improvements, facility expansion and capital investment
• Develop Production Managers, Team Leads and manufacturing-support personnel
• Work closely with the executive team to improve productivity, quality, cost and operational performance

The Person:

• Director of Manufacturing, Director of Operations, Plant Manager or experienced Manufacturing Leader
• Experience within precision, high-mix/low-volume or built-to-print manufacturing
• Ideally experienced in sheet metal, machining, welding, fabrication or engineered products
• Collaborative leader seeking autonomy, long-term stability and continued progression
