Position Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable construction company on Oahu. Our client is looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join their team as Construction Laborers on a full-time, non-union basis. Projects span the island, from Honolulu to surrounding communities, covering residential, commercial, and civil work. While prior construction experience is a plus, our client welcomes applications from driven individuals who are eager to learn and build a career in the trades. Key Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, operators, and skilled tradespeople with day-to-day construction tasks.
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Perform site preparation including clearing, grading, and debris removal.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, mortar, and other materials as directed.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Travel to various job sites across Oahu as project schedules require.
- Take direction from foremen and supervisors and complete tasks efficiently.
- Learn new skills on the job and show initiative in supporting the crew.
Requirements
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and personal reliable vehicle - required for travel to job sites island-wide.
- Currently residing on Oahu. No relocation assistance provided.
- Non-union status required.
- Ability to perform physically.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up and giving full effort every day.
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced crew members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, general labor, or a related trade.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment.
- Experience working on residential or commercial job sites in Hawaii.
