We are looking for a talented Tool Machinist who will be responsible for achieving company safety, quality, and productivity goals.
 
Work Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday 10 hour shifts
 
Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various manual or CNC machines in department.
• Knowledge of shop mathematics, able to read and follow blueprints.
• Inspect parts to assure dimensional accuracy.  Make machine adjustments as needed.
• Count finished parts to assure orders are complete.  Use proper part identification.
• Able to follow instructions, listen and communicate clearly.
• Work with minimum supervision upon completion of training.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Adapt to change as required – willing to cross-train in other departments.
• Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
• All other related duties as assigned.
• Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years relevant technical field experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.
• Familiar with inspection equipment; micrometers, calipers, height gauge and dial indicators.
• Basic computer skills. CNC CAM Program and M&G code a plus.
• Familiar with cutting tools, work holding, and proper feeds & speeds.
• Working knowledge of mechanical components.
• Able to maintain a good attendance record.
• Possess a high degree of professionalism, performs with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Organized and able to prioritize daily tasks.
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
• Good judgment to carefully handle confidential information and documents.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to walk.
• Ability to speak verbally and read in English.
• Ability to see with corrective lenses.
• Ability to hear.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Able to travel up to 10% domestically.
