We are looking for a talented Tool Machinist who will be responsible for achieving company safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Work Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday 10 hour shifts
Main Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various manual or CNC machines in department.
- Knowledge of shop mathematics, able to read and follow blueprints.
- Inspect parts to assure dimensional accuracy. Make machine adjustments as needed.
- Count finished parts to assure orders are complete. Use proper part identification.
- Able to follow instructions, listen and communicate clearly.
- Work with minimum supervision upon completion of training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Capable of standing for long periods of time.
- Adapt to change as required – willing to cross-train in other departments.
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
- All other related duties as assigned.
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.

- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years relevant technical field experience
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.
- Familiar with inspection equipment; micrometers, calipers, height gauge and dial indicators.
- Basic computer skills. CNC CAM Program and M&G code a plus.
- Familiar with cutting tools, work holding, and proper feeds & speeds.
- Working knowledge of mechanical components.
- Able to maintain a good attendance record.
- Possess a high degree of professionalism, performs with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Organized and able to prioritize daily tasks.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
- Good judgment to carefully handle confidential information and documents.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk.
- Ability to speak verbally and read in English.
- Ability to see with corrective lenses.
- Ability to hear.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.

- Able to travel up to 10% domestically.

- Normal hazards related to working in a manufacturing and testing environment.
- Normal hazards related to road and air travel.
