We are looking for a talented General Manager who will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight for a 10-plus million dollar growing 35-person Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration specialty equipment manufacturing operation in Warminster, PA. The position contributes to, and in some cases, leads the success in the areas of operations, engineering, sales, people leadership, R&D, service, accounting and administration.

Main Responsibilities
- Acts as the strategic leader providing full oversight for the assigned business unit through a commitment of shared success, product growth and investment in future business.
- Develop and lead the execution plan to maximize overall business objectives and ensure targeted profitability
- Utilizing technical acumen of products to drive closing of orders through working with customers and supporting sales as necessary.
- Coordinate and maintain a strong working relationship with business partners that facilitate issue resolution, collaboration, reinforcement of business practices, and information share to partners.
- Apply demonstrated HVAC/Environmental Chamber technical know-how to drive TESCOR product planning, build and actively manage a robust sales plan, earn the trust and confidence of customers that TESCOR will deliver quality products on time
- Reinforce a sense of integrity, customer service, professionalism and excellence with staff and customers through communication and actions.
- Lead the business unit's annual planning and strategic direction setting, including the professional growth of direct reports and supervisors.
- Evaluate operations and lead activity to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity while managing costs effectively.
- Implement and maintain a complete ISO 9001 registered management system to improve operational efficiency and meet customer requirements.
- Mentor, coach, evaluate and develop team members ensuring accountability and resources in establishing business goals.
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
- All other related duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Engineering or another relevant field of study.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in an automotive or engineering environment.
- Minimum of 8 years experience leading and managing a team, with a minimum of 5 years experience in business management over a function or department.
- Experience managing or direct working relationship with an Engineer to Order and Manufacturing Plant preferred.
- Collaborative leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening at all levels effectively and clearly, in the organization. This includes being able to communicate technical concepts adeptly to customers as they relate to products.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management and planning skills
- Strong critical thinking, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Solid technical acumen and experience supporting and/or working with engineers and a technical product, preferably in an Engineer-to-order environment.
- Ability and displayed interest in understanding the technical aspects of the equipment we design and build, with a strong preference for experience in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
- Proven ability to identify process improvements and implement change management in an environment.
- Ability to regularly assess and modify plans based on identified KPIs relevant to the business, and adjust execution as required
- Thorough understanding of sound business processes from quotation to delivery; managing customer experience and relationships.
- Strong experience in utilizing an ERP, CRM, and MS Office suite.
- Understanding of and exposure to quality systems and workplace safety practices.
- HVAC/Environmental Chamber technical expertise preferred
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with effectiveness and efficiency.
- Awareness of and commitment to follow labor law as applicable.
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.
