We are looking for a talented Accounting Payable Specialist you will be responsible for helping to enter, process, and issue payment for supplier invoices and maintain supplier accounts. You will assist the accounting department with the month and year end closing and reconciliation process.

We are looking for a talented Accounting Payable Specialist you will be responsible for helping to enter, process, and issue payment for supplier invoices and maintain supplier accounts. You will assist the accounting department with the month and year end closing and reconciliation process.
Main Responsibilities
- Enter and process supplier invoices.
- Prepare weekly batches and submit to Corporate for payment.
- Main point of contact for Suppliers, researching vendor statements, phone calls and discrepancies.
- Ensure accuracy of supplier accounts, credit memos, and received goods not invoiced list.
- Assist with month-end closing, including intercompany balancing
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
- All other related duties as assigned.
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Officially enrolled or previously enrolled in an accredited degree program have completed relevant coursework in accounting, finance, or similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable accounting
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor and Coupa preferred).
- Good organizational skills
- Strong customer orientation (internal and external)
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a Team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
