We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Manage bookkeeping & payroll tasks using QuickBooks and other software, including data entry and account reconciliation
- Handle front desk responsibilities, greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide administrative support such as filing, proofreading, and organizing documents
- Support office management activities including calendar management and scheduling appointments
- Assist with customer service inquiries via phone and email, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and customer support
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems
- Support personal assistant tasks as needed, including calendar coordination and task prioritization
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace for document creation, communication, and collaboration
- Perform general clerical duties such as typing correspondence, proofreading documents, and managing office supplies
Requirements
- Proven experience in clerical work, or administrative support
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is highly desirable
- Previous payroll experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and support experience
- Previous experience as a receptionist or personal/medical assistant is advantageous
- Ability to manage calendars efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
