Lingo Staffing is Now Hiring for a Machine Operator in Barberton, OH

Hours:
Production Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Rotating Schedule – 36 hrs one week / 48 hrs the next)

Pay: $17.65/hr base (higher based on experience)

Short Description
We are hiring Machine Operators for a new manufacturing facility in Barberton, OH. This is a long-term opportunity with room for advancement into lead roles for candidates who are reliable, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow in a 24/7 production environment. Training is provided on dayshift before moving to nights.

Job Duties

• 
  Set up, operate, and monitor wire drawing machines
  
• 
  Load rod coils onto machine payoffs
  
• 
  Perform quality inspections throughout the shift
  
• 
  Complete basic production and inventory paperwork
  
• 
  Maintain a clean and safe work area
  
• 
  Follow all safety and production procedures
  

Requirements

• 
  Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts
  
• 
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more
  
• 
  Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  
• 
  High School Diploma or GED required
  
• 
  Steel-toed boots required
  
• 
  Must be willing to comply with a national background check
  

Physical Requirements
This position requires standing and walking for the entirety of the shift (approximately 2.5 miles per day), as well as bending, twisting, stooping, lifting, and repetitive motion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
