Crate Builder - 3rd shift

Lingo Staffing is Now Hiring for Crate Builder in Minerva, OH

Hours:

• Training: 5:30am–3:30pm (Mon–Thu) & 5:30am–1:30pm (Fri) OR 7am–3:30pm (Mon–Fri)
• Midnights After Training: 9pm–5am (Sun–Thu)

Days:

• Monday–Thursday & Friday as needed (for 5:30am shift)
• Monday–Friday (for 7am shift)
• Midnight shift: Sunday–Thursday

Pay: $15/hr ($1 shift differential once on 3rd)

Short Description
This position supports the shipping & packaging department by building high-quality wood crates, skids, and custom packaging. Associates will set up and operate woodworking machinery, use power tools, and perform precision measurements to ensure all crates meet specifications. Candidates must be dependable, mechanically inclined, and able to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Career Center woodworking training OR 2–5 years wood construction experience
• Mechanical aptitude; strong problem-solving skills
• Must safely operate table saws, panel saws, nailers, drills, and other commercial-grade woodworking tools
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and perform shop math
• Must accurately use a tape measure
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Forklift/lift truck experience required
• Must be willing to comply with a national background check
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen (non-THC per DuraFin requirement)
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, twist, push/pull, crouch, and reach throughout the entire shift
