The position serves as the central coordination point between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to drive enhancements, releases, and operational stability. It requires strong governance, communication, and leadership skills to manage complex system operations in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor management, ensuring all contractual, technical, and operational obligations are met
- Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors to capture requirements, resolve issues, and prioritize system enhancements
- Lead recurring governance meetings including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance and operational reviews
- Monitor SLA performance, system uptime, incidents, outages, and root cause analysis, escalating issues when necessary
- Oversee contract documentation including amendments, renewals, change orders, and compliance artifacts
- Manage vendor deliverable quality, timelines, and alignment with contractual expectations
- Review SOC reports, disaster recovery test results, and other security/compliance documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning, execution, validation, and reporting activities
- Manage end-to-end change request processes including intake, scoping, approvals, prioritization, and tracking of hours/budget
- Oversee release planning, scheduling, blackout periods, and deployment coordination for system updates and enhancements
- Drive delivery of system enhancements, new features, and ongoing platform improvements
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), load testing, and accessibility testing with business and technical teams
- Validate production deployments and confirm post-release system stability and performance
- Ensure adherence to accessibility standards such as WCAG and Section 508 compliance requirements
- Maintain risk logs, operational documentation, and governance artifacts for audit and oversight purposes
- Support internal and external audits related to system changes, security, and operational processes
- Collaborate with security, legal, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with applicable regulations and policies
- Lead meetings effectively, ensuring agendas, action items, ownership, and deadlines are clearly documented and tracked
- Provide clear, structured communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple organizations
- Manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives while maintaining operational stability and delivery timelines
