The Production Manager’s role is to create the culture, team, processes, and infrastructure to meet productivity and customer demand requirements without sacrificing safety, quality, or cost-effectiveness. This position is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing functions are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing facility.
- Support and direct location continuous improvement initiatives
- Forecast and schedule workload to maximize labor and materials allocation
- Supervise the required maintenance and repair of all production related equipment.
- Ensure employees are trained properly in the use of systems and safety measures.
- Utilize software systems and ERP to properly plan and account for all production.
- Focus on Quality Control to ensure high quality products and consistent procedures.
- Foster good communication and manage conflict.

- Effectively strategize and plan to keep employee morale and engagement high, especially during times of change.
- Identify challenges and inefficiencies in production and implement alternative solutions as they relate to cost, quality, and production requirements.
- Education consistent with production management
- 5-10 years of production manufacturing experience
- 5 years’ supervisory experience required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity, and ability to take initiative and be self-directed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
