We are currently looking for an energetic, resourceful, and experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing of our custom products at our high desert location.

The Production Manager’s role is to create the culture, team, processes, and infrastructure to meet productivity and customer demand requirements without sacrificing safety, quality, or cost-effectiveness. This position is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing functions are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing facility.
• Support and direct location continuous improvement initiatives
• Forecast and schedule workload to maximize labor and materials allocation
• Supervise the required maintenance and repair of all production related equipment.
• Ensure employees are trained properly in the use of systems and safety measures.
• Utilize software systems and ERP to properly plan and account for all production.
• Focus on Quality Control to ensure high quality products and consistent procedures.
• Foster good communication and manage conflict.

• Effectively strategize and plan to keep employee morale and engagement high, especially during times of change.
• Identify challenges and inefficiencies in production and implement alternative solutions as they relate to cost, quality, and production requirements.
  
  
  

Basic Requirements:

• Education consistent with production management
• 5-10 years of production manufacturing experience
• 5 years’ supervisory experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity, and ability to take initiative and be self-directed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
