Business Systems Analyst (ERP & Business Intelligence)

Position Summary

Lindsay is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems & Data team. This role will play a key part in transforming how our organization uses technology and data to support business operations.

The Business Systems Analyst will partner with business leaders to improve processes, implement enterprise applications, develop reporting solutions, and support strategic initiatives including ERP implementations, business intelligence, and data management. This position requires someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology while working closely with end users across manufacturing, finance, operations, and executive leadership.

This is a highly collaborative role with the opportunity to help shape the future technology landscape of a growing manufacturing organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Business Process Improvement

• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. 
• Gather and document business requirements. 
• Recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual work. 
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders. 
• Develop process maps and standard operating procedures. 

ERP Systems

• Support implementation and optimization of Acumatica and Titan ERP. 
• Configure and test system enhancements. 
• Assist with data migration and validation activities. 
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with software vendors. 
• Provide user training and documentation. 

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports. 
• Create SQL queries to support reporting requirements. 
• Develop and maintain semantic models and datasets. 
• Analyze operational and financial data to provide business insights. 
• Support executive reporting initiatives. 

Data & Integration

• Assist with data validation and governance efforts. 
• Support integration projects between enterprise applications. 
• Participate in Enterprise Data Warehouse initiatives. 
• Ensure data quality and consistency across systems. 

Project Delivery

• Participate in cross-functional project teams. 
• Coordinate testing activities. 
• Support change management and user adoption. 
• Assist in developing project plans and status reporting. 

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
• 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, or similar role. 
• Experience supporting ERP systems. 
• Experience with SQL. 
• Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI platforms. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities. 

Preferred

• Experience with Acumatica ERP. 
• Experience with manufacturing environments. 
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. 
• Experience with Power BI semantic models. 
• Experience with data warehouse or analytics projects. 
• Familiarity with business process mapping methodologies. 
• Experience participating in ERP implementations. 

Technical Skills

Preferred experience with:

• Acumatica ERP 
• Titan ERP (or comparable manufacturing ERP)
