Senior-level quality leadership experience in regulated manufacturing required.
The Role
This role builds and maintains LMC’s ISO and NQA-1 quality systems in support of regulated defense and nuclear manufacturing.
You’ll lead quality assurance efforts across the organization, partnering closely with operations and engineering to ensure ASME code compliance, full traceability, weld procedure control, vendor audits, and documentation integrity across complex manufacturing work.
This role is best suited for someone who has led quality systems in regulated, code-driven manufacturing environments and understands how compliance integrates with day-to-day production.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Maintain and improve LMC’s ISO and NQA-1 Quality Assurance programs
- Interpret and apply ASME, customer, and regulatory quality standards
- Lead internal and external audits for ISO and NQA-1 compliance
- Plan and oversee product inspection and testing for conformance to ASME and customer specifications
- Audit vendors for NQA-1 compliance and performance
- Review and support manufacturing plans for government and nuclear contracts
- Review and develop weld procedures to ASME Section IX
- Support NDE requirements per ASME Section V
- Lead complaint, nonconformance, corrective action, and root cause analysis processes
- Partner with operations to ensure documentation discipline and quality integrity
- Support continuous improvement and 6S program initiatives across the organization
What We’re Looking For
- Experience leading quality assurance programs in regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of ISO, NQA-1, and ASME codes and standards
- Experience with government or nuclear manufacturing plans
- Experience with weld procedure qualification and NDE requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with operations and engineering
Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA are preferred.
