What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Services Quality Assurance position at COUNTY OF BROWN?
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Under general supervision, this position collaborates
with internal and external providers on meeting or exceeding
programmatic state statute and Medicaid requirements and standards. This
position also provides leadership and technical consultation to staff in
support of quality improvement and best practice efforts. This position
supports two of the Children\'s Services Unit programs; Children\'s
Long-Term Support (CLTS) and Comprehensive Community Services
(CCS-Youth). Essential Duties Ensure program and staff compliance with
applicable county, state and federal guidelines related to the provision
of service. Assists unit supervisors with annual Metastar and DHS
compliance reviews. Provide staff immediate feedback on compliance
concerns or issues and problem solve solutions. Maintain a high level of
understanding of federal, state, county and local laws and regulations
that impact funding and service delivery for the CCS and CLTS programs.
Attend and participate in program staff meetings. Review required
internal and external documentation to evaluate the appropriateness and
quality of support and services being provided. Provide education and
support on current best practices and quality service provision to
internal and external service providers. Assist supervisors with
onboarding education on topics such as compliance and quality practices.
Use adult learning principles to deliver education to staff in an
appropriate and individualized manner. Facilitate collaboration and
maintain positive working relationships with Brown County support staff
including finance, contracts and purchasing. Review and audit claims to
ensure they meet all standards necessary for Medicaid reimbursement,
ensuring program integrity and preventing waste, fraud and abuse.
Participate in communication and problem solving with the external
provider network about programmatic compliance and expectations to
assist the Children\'s Services Manager and Contracts Manager. Ensuring
the provider network is compliant with documentation, training, service
Frequency, Qualifications And Billing. Enter And Maintain Client Data
into Wisconsin PPS (Program Participation System) as needed. Tracks data
and completes DHS surveys as needed. Assist supervisors with ensuring
service authorizations are accurate and cost effective. Participate
actively in meetings with regional and state partners on program topics.
Facilitate communication and maintain positive working relationships
with consumers, informal support systems, co-workers, health
professionals, courts, legal representatives, contracted providers and
the public at large. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Performs related functions as
assigned MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT USED: General office equipment Computer
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or
carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Intermittent standing,
walking and sitting; occasional driving. Using hand(s)/feet for
repetitive single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, and
operating controls. Occasional bending, twisting, squatting, climbing,
reaching, and grappling. Communicating orally in a clear manner.
Distinguishing sounds at various frequencies and volumes. Distinguishing
people or objects at varied distances under a variety of light

Effective interpersonal skills, communication skills and a flexible
approach. Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines (i.e.
copy machine, fax machine, telephone, and personal computer). Ability to
work the required hours of the position. Business hours for the unit are
