Job Summary
The communications operations specialist focuses on the operational aspects and technical execution of communication initiatives within Enrollment Management and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for traditional, graduate, and online admissions. This position is responsible for the successful integration of communication workflows, overseeing mailer logistics, and facilitating comprehensive outbound communication strategies to enhance enrollment management effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities and Execution
- Manages and executes communication workflows within the admissions Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness
- Coordinates admissions-related outbound communication logistics, including print, digital, and mailer campaigns
- Integrates data-driven processes within the CRM to streamline and optimize communication outreach efforts
- Monitors and analyzes CRM-driven communication effectiveness and collaborates with Enrollment and Marketing leaders to develop outbound strategies
- Oversees inventory, production, and distribution of physical mailers and printed enrollment materials
- Engages in quarterly secret-shopping and auditing of all enrollment communications
- Develops communication sequences within the enrollment cycle
- Assists with developing targeted CRM queries and segments for enrollment campaigns

Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration
- Collaborates with the enrollment communications specialist and other Enrollment and Marketing teams to align CRM strategies and messaging
- Partners with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of communication campaigns
- Provides clear, accurate reporting and documentation on communication campaign outcomes
- Fosters teamwork by sharing CRM best practices and offering training support as needed
Job may require other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or related discipline
- Minimum two years’ experience working with CRM systems, preferably in an admissions or enrollment context
- Prior experience managing mailers and large-scale outbound communication initiatives preferred

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Proficiency with admissions CRM systems and understanding of data integration principles
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with postal regulations and logistics for direct mail campaigns
- Adept at collaborating across multiple teams to achieve shared objectives
