Converting Helper / Warehouse Associate - 3rd Shift
OBJECTIVE
To safely operate paper sheeting and converting equipment while supporting warehouse operations in accordance with Lindenmeyr Munroe safety, quality, and production standards. This position is responsible for converting large paper rolls into finished products, maintaining quality specifications, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform daily safety inspections of assigned material handling equipment.
- Set up and operate paper sheeting and converting machinery according to production specifications.
- Load, thread, and align master paper rolls onto production equipment.
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to ensure proper alignment, tension, and product quality.
- Inspect finished products for size accuracy, appearance, and customer specifications using measuring devices as needed.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Stack, label, band, wrap, and palletize finished product for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory and finished goods.
- Assist with receiving, inventory control, shipping, and general warehouse operations.
- Maintain accurate production records and work area cleanliness.
- Follow all Company safety policies and immediately report equipment issues or workplace hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Perform basic mathematical calculations and accurately read measuring devices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, printing, packaging, or paper converting experience preferred.
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Physical Capabilities Test and Drug Screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Proficient in basic math skills, including measurements, multiplication, division, and subtraction.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
