Location:Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior LivingJoin our team as a Medical Office Assistant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them and gathering initial information, including contact and insurance details. You will also provide essential administrative support to ensure that every patient receives top-notch care and service.Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experienceLength of Assignment: up to 12 weeks with the potential to become permanentWhat we offerA culture of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging, which builds on our mission, vision and valuesMedical, dental and vision packages, including an annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching and telemedicine optionsPTO Plans, PLUS company paid volunteer hours for eligible team members, in accordance with applicable state law401k for all team members 18 and over with a company 3% matchOnsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all team members over 18 years of ageEducation assistance, certification reimbursement and access to over 6,000 courses through our online learning library, designed to enhance your current skills and build new onesGrowth Opportunities – grow with the company as we open new communities and expand on our existing ones!How you will make an impactReceive and schedule patients at the front desk as well as answering the phone taking accurate messages.Answer multi-line phone while documenting concise messages from internal/external customersManage the uploading of new patient information into the portal.Request patient medical records from outside providers and follow-up as necessary to ensure receiptAccurate scanning and placement of documents into patient charts and labeled correctly to include attaching reports to referral/order in order to close the referral loopVerify Insurances prior to appointment (to include manual verification, if needed); Add/Update Insurance information into the system.Make daily reminder calls to patients for upcoming appointments.Assist with completion of Visit Prep forms to ensure efficient provider visitPartners with other departments/Specialists to assist in the coordination of care when neededWork on spreadsheets and tasks as directed by Practice Administrator.Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and vendors What you will needMinimum of 1 year of front medical office experience requiredAbility to use of multi-line electronic telephone systemBasic Computer skillsExcellent communication skillsFiling/charting and documenting accurate patient recordsPlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
