Ophthalmic Tech / Optometric Tech FT / PT
Due to continued growth, we have several positions for Full Time and Part Time Ophthalmic Tech's or Optometric Tech's. Saturdays required for all positions.
The successful candidate will be reliable, a team-player, and will have good interpersonal skills..
Job description:
We seek highly motivated individuals with strong commitment to excellence and a desire to advance based on performance.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Patient Testing: The majority of your time will be in the clinic area, assisting the doctors by performing pre-exam testing such as NCT, as well as other tests ordered by the doctor including A-Scans, Visual Fields, Optos, etc.
- Eyewear adjustments and/or repairs -- experience optional but helpful.
- Maintain appropriate standards of quality, honesty, and patient service.
- Work with others to ensure comprehensive completion of all tasks.
Experience:
· Minimum 1 year experience as an Ophthalmic Tech / Optometric Tech.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Team player
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Highly motivated and organized
- Empathetic with patients' needs and concerns
- Multi-Task and excel under pressure
- Computer literate
- Detail Oriented
