Memory Care Director (LPN) for 24-bed Memory Care Unit within Linden House Assisted Living and Memory Care located at 1250 Branchlands Dr., Charlottesville.
This position manages all operations of the community's Memory Care unit by facilitating optimal quality of life for memory-impaired residents, including clinical and recreational care... in accordance with established policies / guidelines of Linden House and DSS regulations.
Must have at least 2 years of experience as a LPN providing clinical care and at least 1 year experience working with memory-impaired population in adult residential facility, adult day care center, nursing home, or licensed home care or hospice organization. Certification in or strong familiarity with Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care methods highly desired. Current CPR certification required along with experience managing clinical needs of senior adults with memory impairment.
Linden House is a beautiful, well maintained senior care residential facility with secured 24-bed MC unit that is bright and cheerful. The unit has a FT MC Activity Program Coordinator and direct care team consisting of RMAs and Nursing Assistants.
