Senior SOX Compliance Analyst

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will be a key participant in the testing of internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley by gathering, analyzing, and documenting processes over financial reporting
- Coordinate efforts to ensure SOX compliance requirements are met within required deadlines
- Proactively monitor changes in business, process and systems and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders
- You will identify internal control deficiencies and ensure the timely implementation of corrective actions
- Further, you will assist in the creation and maintenance of the key control matrix and advise management on improvement recommendations related to key controls
- Interact with external auditors to coordinate walkthroughs, follow up on inquiries, and provide audit support as requested
- You possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- You have three (3 ) years of experience in public accounting or internal audit, including experience with SOX walkthroughs and test of controls
- It is a bonus if you possess a CPA, CIA or CISA certification
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet required deadlines
- Ability to work through testing independently and escalate issues timely
- You are able to adapt quickly to a changing environment
