This program will show you what it takes to be a successful member of our organization. It's designed to expose you to key areas across our business. You'll work on challenging, high-profile assignments intended to prepare you for a full-time role in our leadership development program after graduation.
This is a paid, on-site internship with a Monday – Friday schedule of 40 hours per week for the summer months. This role will continue on a part-time basis once the fall semester begins through December.
Program Structure:
Co-Op students will apply classroom lessons in a real-world setting. They will learn about our products, processes, and functions. The participants will be given a controls work assignment in our engineering group as they work under the guidance of a mentor. The scope of the internship program will focus on a large-scale controls project while focusing on growing skills supporting a plant in small projects.
Internship Project Overview:
The Engineering Co-Op student will be a valued member of our team and will support our daily operations by participating in projects and activities organized by our engineering department. There will also be a large focus on large scale development of automation project controls.
What Makes You Great:
To be considered for an Engineering Co-Op with Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. you must meet the following:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Integrative or Industrial Engineering
- Basic programming skills preferred
- Hands-on experience through at least one, relevant, off-campus internship or co-op is preferred
