Position Overview:
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all maintenance activities within the southern region's customer service territory. This role involves establishing, implementing, and maintaining both administrative and technical procedures to ensure responsive post-sale service is delivered to internal and external customers.
The primary focus of this position is managing a team of 11 cryogenic technicians responsible for the repair and maintenance of bulk storage vessels (1500 gallons and above) at client sites across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and parts of western Arkansas. These storage vessels support the delivery of oxygen, argon, CO2, hydrogen, and nitrogen.
This role operates from our Willis, Texas office.
This mid-level management position relies on advanced technical and managerial expertise to oversee critical activities that support the continuous supply of gases for customer use.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementing organizational priorities, plans, and objectives while ensuring accountability.
Managing the organization's systems for safety, quality, financial, personnel, and work processes.
Collaborating with management, customers, technicians, and the sales team to address escalated or complex customer service concerns.
Setting team priorities to ensure tasks are completed and coordinating work activities between staff and engineering.
Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
This position reports to the Southwest Customer Service Area Manager and oversees the maintenance technicians.
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (8 years in a related field).
3 years of operational experience.
1 years of management experience.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Proficiency in JDE systems.
Experience reviewing work orders in Field Centrix.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Familiarity with MOC and Process Safety reporting.
Willingness to participate in the DISA program or other required customer site programs.
