What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Site Mechanical Completion Manager position at Linde Group?
You will set up and install project-specific Mechanical Completion (MC) procedures, documents, and information exchange, including the ongoing management and coordination of all processes and resources
Further, you will review and coordinate ITPs and MC related documents by the corresponding engineering disciplines, collected and coordinated by the Lead Mechanical Completion Management and attached to the MC Procedure
Develop and coordinate detailed handover schedules for systems and sub-systems in accordance with the approved commissioning sequence and the overall completion schedule (construction/mechanical/plant), including all engineering, construction, and commissioning disciplines as well as client representatives
Additionally, you will prepare and issue regular inspection status reports for the Project Manager Execution and the respective GC functional unit, supported by the construction contractor's documentation
Document and solve problems regarding construction and engineering deficiencies on site; inform and discuss problems and deficiencies with the affected discipline as well as suggesting improvement ideas for work process and basic documents regarding construction and commissioning
Further, in the field of MC management, you will check and evaluate claims of contractors and the incremental scope of work by the client, and inform the Lead Mechanical Completion Management of all changes
You will ensure that the release of next work steps is not issued until all required inspections and tests have been conducted successfully and no critical punch items remain open
Participate in discipline and final walk-downs
