Automation & Robotic Welding Service Technician

What you will enjoy doing*
- Install, configure, and provide training on robotic, collaborative robot, and automation equipment
- You are going to perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure robotic systems operate at peak performance
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic systems
- You are expected to deliver technical support and training to clients on operation and upkeep of robotic equipment
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex challenges and enhance system performance
- You will maintain accurate service records including maintenance logs and repair documentation
- Uphold safety standards and protocols throughout all service activities
- Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
- You hold an associate’s degree or higher in Welding, Robotics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining automated systems and robotics equipment
- Strong technical knowledge of robotics, automation, and control systems including programming on platforms such as Fanuc, Panasonic, and Universal Robots
- Aptitude in welding processes including Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Plasma Cutting Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities with ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- You have effective communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required
- You have the familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and Human-Machine Interface systems, combined with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment
