Turbomachinery Manufacturing Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will provide engineering support for assembly of centrifugal compressors, turbines, and related rotating equipment
- Develop and maintain assembly procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
- Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot mechanical and instrumentation issues
- Additionally you will support installation and alignment of bearings, seals, rotors, shafts, couplings, and instrumentation systems
- Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications
- Plan, execute, and support performance and mechanical testing of turbomachinery
- Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes, tooling, and testing methods
- Provide application support on aftermarket sales
- Lastly you will work closely with manufacturing technicians, design engineers, quality teams, and field service personnel (Up to 25% Travel Required)
- You will have 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or testing of rotating equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of rotating machinery and mechanical assembly practices
- You will also have experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing or test environment
- Familiarity with vibration analysis, rotor dynamics, and performance testing
- Experience with data acquisition systems and test instrumentation
- Lastly you will have knowledge of API standards such as API 617, API 614, and API 670
