Quality Technician - Inspector
Manchester, CT, United States | req26453 1st shift, Monday-Friday 07:00am - 03:30pm
What you will enjoy doing*
- You will perform inspections, as well as in-process and final inspection of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable engineering standards
- In this role you will inspect parts using precision measurement equipment/devices
- You will assist engineering and operations in the investigation of non-conformities
- In this role you will also play a part in contract review of customer orders ensuring adherence to all applicable specifications
- You are responsible for ensuring proper documentation including fine print details on all product certifications
- High Diploma or GED is required for this role
- The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of aviation experience and 2 years of inspection experience applying GD&T Principles and practices
- Knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100 Quality Management systems; working knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements per AS9102
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- You have knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment is also a plus
