Product Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will assess and analyze current manufacturing processes, including overseeing and optimizing the full lifecycle of a product's manufacturing process and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency
- You will work in a collaborative environment to develop the processes for new products, work processes, and other manufacturing needs
- Further you will develop and draft job instructions for all manufacturing processes
- You will also develop and implement efficient quality control processes and cost-saving measures
- You must communicate with customers to ensure their needs are being met
- You will need Bachelor’s degree in materials science, manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, industrial, or related engineering field
- 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment, Lean Six Sigma and using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Software preferred
- You need to be proficient in data analysis programs and Microsoft Suite
- You should have creativity and analytical problem-solving abilities
- You will need effective time management skills and excellent communication and customer service skill
- You will have the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements while processing, masking, demasking, loading, unloading, inspecting, and packaging customer hardware and materials
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- You will work in a production environment that may include exposure to noise, dust, vibration, heat, cold, and industrial chemicals while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to visually inspect parts, materials, and process conditions to identify defects, damage, contamination, or other nonconforming conditions
- Ability to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators, protective clothing, and other PPE as required by the task or work area.
