What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure and Security Engineer position at Lind?
Infrastructure & Security Engineer (Senior/Staff)
Who We Are
We are a team of engineers, data scientists, clinical research professionals, and clinicians who believe every patient deserves access to the best possible treatment options—no matter who they are, where they live, or where they receive their care. We're breaking down barriers to clinical trial access by developing an AI-powered solution that can analyze a patient's medical records to identify the most promising clinical trials available to them.
Our approach is centered on empowering patients and clinicians with the right information at the right time. By providing transparent insights, our products help equip care teams and patients with the information they need to make educated, confident decisions. We aim to break down the barriers to treatment access and transform how care is personalized for each individual.

About the Role
As an Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you'll own the foundations our product runs on: cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, security controls, and operational reliability. We're SOC 2 Type 2 compliant and handle sensitive healthcare data—you'll maintain and evolve that posture as we grow.
This is a hands-on IC role with real ownership. You'll make architectural decisions, improve how we ship and run software, and collaborate with product engineers on developer experience. You'll work with leadership on security and compliance strategy.
