Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents in our skilled nursing facility
- Provide occupational therapy services, including but not limited to: occupational therapy interventions, adaptive equipment training, and cognitive retraining
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
- Document resident progress and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment and services provided
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Minimum of 0 years of experience in an occupational therapy setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
