What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Technician position at Lincoln Surgical Hospital/Nebraska Surgery Center?
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our multi-specialty surgical team. We cover everything from Orthopedics and Neuro to Pediatric Dental and Plastics.
Your Impact:
You’ll be the backbone of our operating rooms, managing the decontamination, packaging, and sterilization of surgical supplies and instruments to ensure the highest standards of patient safety.
Schedule
- Status: Full-Time (80 hours per pay period)
- Hours: Monday – Friday (Specific shift details discussed during interview)
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS Certification (required within 60 days of hire).
- Sterile Processing Certification (required within 2 years of hire).
- Preferred: Prior experience with surgical instrumentation and advanced sterilization techniques.
