We are currently seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative to join our team.
Schedule
- Full-time: 80 hours per pay period
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Position Summary
The Patient Financial Services Representative plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the hospital. Responsibilities include verifying insurance eligibility and coverage, posting payments, submitting and following up on insurance claims, managing past-due accounts, and responding to inquiries from patients and insurance providers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in accounting, insurance, healthcare, or a medical office setting preferred
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
