This role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-wide HR initiatives within a complex, multi-state environment and play a visible role in shaping organizational strategy, systems, and talent infrastructure.
About the Role
The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a senior business partner to executive leadership, leading HR strategy, systems transformation, payroll oversight, and talent initiatives across a dynamic service-based organization. This leader will be instrumental in modernizing HR processes, driving scalable infrastructure, and ensuring alignment between people strategy and business objectives.
Key Areas of Focus
- Lead enterprise HR strategy aligned with growth objectives and organizational priorities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, structure, and talent strategy
- Oversee and develop HR leadership across core functions including operations, payroll, and talent
- Lead a major HR systems transformation, including full Workday implementation and optimization
- Drive process improvement, policy development, reporting enhancements, and compliance across a multi-state employee base
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance and IT on systems integration and operational execution
- Strengthen leadership development, succession planning, retention strategy, and performance management
Ideal Background
- 12 years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Proven success leading HRIS transformation, ideally Workday implementation
- Strong payroll and HR operations leadership within a complex organization
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on where needed
- Experience supporting executive teams through growth and change
