DEFINITION OF POSITION: Assist with the coordination of the 6-8 athletic and activities programs at Lincoln Middle School
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant Middle School Principal
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three years advising/coaching experience
- Experience leading, supervising and organizing an extra-curricular activities program
- Ability to simultaneously manage a variety of programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Non-athletic student activity experience
- Head coaching experience
ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED ACTIVITIES:
- Manage schedule and coordinate activities
- Provide for supervision of student activities
- Maintain master activity calendar
- Administer Title IX and Sex Equity regulations
- Monitor and administer activities budget
- Articulate a clear vision of the activities and athletics programs and ensure successful implementation
- Work positively and effectively with a wide variety of people both inside and outside the organization (i.e. staff, students, parents, community members, etc.)
- Work with colleagues in a collaborative manner
- Meet multiple demands in a pressure situation and maintain high levels of quality work
- Maintain confidentiality
- Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
- Work with minimal supervision and be flexible
- Perform all other duties as assigned
TERMS OF CONTRACT:
- Salary: Stipend Position: $4,297-$6,124 per full school year
