DEFINITION OF POSITION:  Assist with the coordination of the 6-8 athletic and activities programs at Lincoln Middle School

 

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:  Assistant Middle School Principal

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three years advising/coaching experience
  • Experience leading, supervising and organizing an extra-curricular activities program
  • Ability to simultaneously manage a variety of programs 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Non-athletic student activity experience
  • Head coaching experience    

ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Manage schedule and coordinate activities
  • Provide for supervision of student activities
  • Maintain master activity calendar
  • Administer Title IX and Sex Equity regulations
  • Monitor and administer activities budget
  • Articulate a clear vision of the activities and athletics programs and ensure successful implementation
  • Work positively and effectively with a wide variety of people both inside and outside the organization (i.e. staff, students, parents, community members, etc.)
  • Work with colleagues in a collaborative manner
  • Meet multiple demands in a pressure situation and maintain high levels of quality work
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Work with minimal supervision and be flexible
  • Perform all other duties as assigned 

TERMS OF CONTRACT:

  • Salary: Stipend Position: $4,297-$6,124 per full school year
  • Leaves/Benefits: N/A
