Purpose

The Director, Global Marketing Communications, is responsible for developing and executing a unified communications strategy that enhances brand visibility, supports commercial growth, and enhances customer engagement. This role oversees all external-facing communications, including brand messaging, digital marketing, media relations, and product communications, ensuring consistency across global markets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Global Communications Strategy

• Develop and implement a unified marketing communications strategy aligned with global business objectives.
• Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all regions, platforms, and customer segments.
  
  

Brand & Content Leadership

• Oversee global brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and visual identity standards.
• Develop and execute the brand integration plan for acquisitions.
• Lead the creation of high-impact content for product launches, campaigns, events, and thought leadership.
  
  

Digital Marketing & Media Relations

• Manage global digital marketing initiatives, including website, SEO/SEM, social media, and email marketing.
• Build and maintain relationships with trade publications and PR agencies.
  
  

Product & Customer Communications

• Collaborate with product management and sales to develop go-to-market messaging and customer-facing materials.
• Support the development of case studies, white papers, and technical content tailored to industrial audiences.
  
  

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a global team of marketing communications professionals.
• Partner with regional marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  
  

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• 10 years of experience in marketing communications, with at least 5 years in a global marketing communications leadership role.
• Experience in a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
• Proven success in brand management, digital marketing, and global campaign execution.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams and external research vendors.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
